The Algerian Solidarity Foundation, a non-profit organization, proudly represents and supports the San Francisco Bay Area Algerian community. Whether in need of personal or social; financial, legal or educational resources—ASF can be a helping hand to you, your family or community.
Our primary objective is to offer educational, recreational, and youth programs. As a safety net, the community can also benefit from emergency subsidies or vouchers; and workshops for professional development. Advocating for and growing our community is our forte! Whether you’re a new comer to the region or a bay area long timer, ASF is your ideal partner for most of the challenges you face as an Algerian-American.

Assisted several individuals and families in need by temporarily paying their rent or providing them with financial assistance to cover basic needs.
Organized several janazas (burials) by contacting families of the deceased in Algeria, retrieving bodies from funeral homes, obtained burial documents from local officials and Algerian Consulate, and performing dafn.
Organized and assisted the biometric passport processing of hundreds of community members in San Jose.
Offered lambs for Aid El Adha celebration to families.
Visited and provided financial aid and moral support to ailing community members.
Helped new comers settle in the San Francisco Bay Area.
